The USBLC6-2SC6 from STMicroelectronics is a very low capacitance ESD protection device in 6pin SOT-23 package. This monolithic application specific device is dedicated to ESD protection of high speed interfaces such as USB 2.0, Ethernet links and video lines. The very low line capacitance secures a high level of signal integrity without compromising in protecting sensitive chips against most stringently characterized ESD strikes. It also provides optimized data integrity and speed. The USBLC6-2SC6 features enhanced ESD protection (IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 compliance) hence results in greater immunity at system level. It offers fast response time and low leakage current for longer operation of battery powered devices.
