The ADRF6510-EVALZ is a fully populated, 4-layer, FR4 based evaluation board designed to allow easy evaluation of all features of the ADRF6510. The evaluation board provides input and output SMA connections with single ended setups for both channels using baluns. There is an option of full differential signalling on the input and output at the card edge. Access to the +5V/258mA supply is achieved with clip leads to the VPS and COM testpoints, it has a range from +4.75 to +5.25V. The evaluation board can be programmed through the USB port of a PC running windows XP or vista with Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 installed. The ADRF6510 is a matched pair of fully differential low noise and low distortion programmable filters and variable gain amplifiers (VGAs). Each channel is capable of rejecting large out of band interferers while reliably boosting the wanted signal, thus reducing the bandwidth and resolution requirements on the analog to digital converters (ADCs).
