The EVAL-AD7991EBZ is an evaluation kit for AD7991 device. The AD7991 contain a 4 channel multiplexer and track and hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies of up to 14MHz. Onboard components for the EVAL-AD7991 include four AD8691 operational amplifiers, two AD5245 digital potentiometers and one AD780, a pin programmable 2.5V or 3V ultra high precision band gap reference. The conversion process is controlled by a command mode, during which each I2C read operation initiates a conversion and returns the result over the I2C bus. This board operates in standalone mode or connected to a PC via a standard USB interface. When operated with a PC, software is provided enabling the user to perform detailed analysis of the ADC's performance.
