The DB9-USB-D5-F is a full-speed USB to UART Module that operates at 5V signal level. It can be used to replace a female DB9 connector that is wired in a PC compatible RS232 manner. It provides a simple and fast method of migrating existing DB9 based connector UART interfaces to USB 2.0. It is ideal for legacy applications which feature UART DB9 based connectors. It can be used to interface to an application systems logic level.
