The UMFT313EV is an USB 2.0 high-speed host Development Module for FTDI's FT313H, used to develop and demonstrate the functionality of the USB2.0 high-speed host controller. This module can provide three kinds of asynchronous bus interface to connect with a microcontroller. All the features of the FT313H can be accessed with the UMFT313EV. A small form factor PCB to enable connecting a microcontroller to the FT313H. USB2.0 Host function to develop system firmware and prototype system functionality is described in detail. The module contains a type A USB port for connecting peripherals and may be powered with a single 5V supply. The parallel bus options are accessed via a 0.1-inch socket strip.
