The HV-HT series surface mount Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitor is constructed of a robust and proprietary base metal electrode (BME) dielectric system that offers industry leading performance at extreme temperatures. These surface mountable devices feature a 200°C maximum operating temperature and are specifically designed to withstand the demands of harsh industrial environments such as oil exploration and automotive/avionics engine compartment circuitry. They also offer higher and more uniform breakdown voltage performance than competitive products, resulting in increased yields in customer field applications. When dealing with expensive high temperature circuitry and systems, higher yields can quickly result in significant cost savings. KEMET's HV-HT series MLCCs are temperature compensating and are suited for resonant circuit applications or those where Q and stability of capacitance characteristics are required.
