The MAX8902AATA+T is a low noise, high PSRR, low dropout (LDO) linear regulator in 8 pin TDFN package. It delivers up to 500mA of output current with only 16μVRMS of output noise in 100KHz bandwidth. This regulator maintains its output voltage over a wide input range which requires only 100mV of input to output dropout at full load. The MAX8902A maintains low 80μA typical supply current which is independent of load current and dropout voltage. The regulator control circuitry includes a programmable soft start circuit, short circuit, reverse current and thermal overload protection. The MAX8902A output voltage can be set to (pin selectable output voltage) 1.5V, 1.8V, 2V, 2.5V, 3V, 3.1V, 3.3V, 4.6V or 4.7V using SELA and SELB inputs.
