The MAX9022AUA+ is a micropower, ultra small, dual comparator in 8 pin μMAX package. This comparator is optimized for low power consumption while still providing fast output response. It is designed for single supply applications from 2.5V to 5.5V and can also operate from dual supplies. It has 3μs propagation delay and consumes 2.8μA of low supply current. The combination of low power, single supply operation down to 2.5V and ultra small footprint makes this device ideal for many applications. The MAX9022 has 4mV of built-in hysteresis to provide noise immunity and prevent oscillations even with slow moving input signal. The design of comparator output stage substantially reduces switching current during output transitions by eliminating power supply glitches. It is used in sensor signal detection, photodiode preamps, digital line receivers, keyless entry systems & threshold detectors/discriminators.
