AVR-JTAG-USB is an opto isolated USB JTAG dongle for programming and emulation. This AVR-JTAG-USB programs and debugs all AVR flash microcontrollers which have JTAG and are supported by ATJTAGICE. AVR-JTAG-USB works transparently with AVRSTUDIO as it uses USB to RS 232 driver inside and AVRSTUDIO just finds ATJTAGICE connected to the virtual COM port which FT232 driver installs. AVR-JTAG-USB allow debugging on all new computers and notebooks which have no RS 232 COM port and removes all problems which occur when unknown/uncertified USB to RS 232 port converters are used with the original RS 232 based ATJTAGICE.
