This RDK-252 demonstration board employs the Power Integrations CAP014DG. It operates over a universal input range. It has been designed and tested to operate with an ambient temperature environment of up to 105 °C. Useful for safely discharging the X capacitor.
Very low no-load input power (<5 mW actual dissipation)
Passes surge testing to EN6100-4-5 Class 4 (2 kV DM / 4 kV CM)
Safely discharges the X capacitor with a time constant of less than 1 second
