The C8051F921-GM is an ultra-low power 8-bit Microcontroller that has been designed from the ground up to be highly power-effective. The MCU features a powerful 8051 core with 25MHz performance along with 32kB flash, 4.25kB RAM and a 10-bit 15-channel 300ksps ADC. The C8051F921-GM operates down to 0.9V and up to 3.6V, enabling single- cell battery operation as well as dramatically increasing the battery life for dual-cell applications. With an integrated dc-dc converter and low energy modes to reduce the active and sleep currents. With on-chip power-on reset, VDD monitor, watchdog timer and clock oscillator, the device is truly stand-alone system-on-a-chip solutions. The flash memory can be reprogrammed even in-circuit, providing non-volatile data storage and also allowing field upgrades of the 8051 firmware. User software has complete control of all peripherals and may individually shut down any or all peripherals for power savings.
