The LMS8117ADT-ADJ/NOPB is a single channel, adjustable output low dropout (LDO) linear regulator in 3 pin TO-252 package. This device has same pin-out as National Semiconductor's industry standard LM317. The output voltage is adjustable with only two external resistors. The LMS8117A offers current limiting and thermal shutdown. Its circuit includes a zener trimmed bandgap reference to assure output voltage accuracy to within ±1%.
